Let’s get started and if you have any additional methods then please leave them in the comment box below the content.

Blogging always starts with researching and knowing what your audience is looking for. For example, if you don’t know what to write about, then you’ll have a hard time building momentum. Next, if you write about the wrong topics, then you still won’t be able to generate enough readership and this isn’t good for your bottom line either. At this point, it’s better to take the time to research and know what people expect to read so you know once you pitch an idea it will be accepted more likely than rejected. Here are a few places to find the best topics within your niche.

Google Search – one of the best places to find the right content and can provide enormous information. For example, by typing in a search within the search engines, you’ll be able to see what keywords are popular. You can then focus on them a bit more and use them when pitching ideas.

Google Trends – another great tool to see what keywords and searches are becoming popular with people. This means you can get a jump start on your competition and write about topics not covered by them. Pay closer attention to the keywords which are slowly rising online.

Forums – Online communities are a great place to find out what topics and common questions people have about your niche. These common problems can be anything and are always great topics to focus on when writing content. In your case, if you can come up with the right topic, it will not only get accepted for guest posting but will rank higher than others in the search results.

Once you have done your research, I recommend creating a list of topics so you don’t forget what you found and they are easier to find. This will help you gather and create topics easily and cut your time in half. You can then start to search the right blogs to pitch your ideas to Guest Blogging.

Pitching Your Idea

One of the most important things when trying to publish is being able to pitch your idea carefully. You don’t want to come across too aggressive because this will push the blog owner away from accepting your idea and giving you a chance. You don’t want to come across too careless because then the blog owner will think you’re not serious enough. For this reason, I encourage you to break the contact barrier by shooting a simple “Hello” message asking the blogger for their expert opinion. This works because you are praising the blogger for their success in your niche. Then, you can start to ask them if they accept guest posts for their blogs and what is the process. Always keep track of when you first contacted them because you might need to follow-up after a few days if you don’t hear anything back from them initially.

You can learn a lot about outreach by doing a quick search online on “guest blogging pitches”. You’ll find a lot of email templates on what you should send them to open the doors of communication.
